A Memorial Weekend

Dress: c/o Romwe//Hat: Forever 21//Sandals: Steve Madden//Vintage Pearl Necklaces

Memorial Day weekend was a work weekend for me. I worked nights (which is always brutal) and made a quick pitstop in NYC on Saturday night for a friend's birthday. We went to the Hudson Terrace which has the most gorgeous view and the breeze at night is amazing. I brought my camera and realized it was dead once we got there, so no photographs were taken to document the night, Bummer.
What did you all do over the long weekend?

Don't forget to enter the giveaway, it's extended until Friday at noon EST! :)

Striped Sunrise

Dress: ASOS//Handbag: Melie Bianco via Silvia's Shop//Scarf: Vintage//Hat: Forever 21//Wedge Sandals: Seven//Necklace: Vintage via Brimfield Market

I fell head over heels in love with this dress the second I laid my eyes on it at ASOS. It reminds me of this Kate Spade dress, just slighty different and more affordable. I wore this to a friend's Jack and Jill this weekend. It was fun to twirl around in and I am counting the days until it is acceptable to wear it again (and again). This will become a summer staple dress this year for sure...
What's your go-to item for summer this year?

A little bit of ruffles and shimmer

Dress c/o Kendall K//Clutch: Vintage//Shoes: Franco Sarto//Necklace: Vintage

This weekend was one without any prior engagements, which can be the best kind of weekend. The rain let up and the sun came through both Saturday and Sunday, which was a nice surprise (especially considering it's supposed to rain all week again).
Have any of you heard of the independent designer, Kendall K? Her lace "Betti" shorts were recently featured in the May issue of People Style Watch and her line has some unbelievably gorgeous items. I love that this dress has the ruffled top and the skirt has a bit of a shimmer to it. Perfect for any summer event.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's post because there will be a surprise for all of you that involves Kendall K Style! :)

Leopard Brights

Leopard Sweater: Vintage//Coral Collared Blouse: Vintage//Denim Shorts, Readers and Motorcycle Boots: Forever 21

Last year I made the mistake of wearing sandals to the Brimfield Flea and came back with some pretty dirty feet (TMI?) This year I opted for some comfy motorcycle boots that I scored from Forever 21 recently. They made it through the day without annoying my feet and were great trudging through the dirt.
You will also notice that my hair is much lighter for the upcoming summer months (will it ever be sunny and warm?!) I am hoping the sun will contribute to brightening the rest!

Brimfield Flea Market

Vintage shopping has quickly become a passion/hobby of mine. My favorite event is the Brimfield Flea Market which is held three times a year in May, June and September. I highly suggest you visit if you live nearby! There is thousands of vendors and you can find just about anything here. This year I found lots of vintage jewelry and saw a few other things that were slightly overpriced (thus, left them).
If you can believe it, I scored all of these items for under $75. SCORE. Yes.

Loving these old hanging buckets with flower pots inside. Definitely recreating this.
Very boho chic. Loved this daybed with cushion!

All About Business

Blazer and Skirt: J.Crew//Blouse: Vintage//Shoes: Franco Sarto//Clutch: Etsy via Curly in the City//Sunnies: 80's Purple

This weekend was filled with lots of driving and thus-lots of traffic. We went outside of Philly for my boyfriend's family members' graduation...Sometimes a good, but short road trip can be fun! Plus, even though the traffic was heavy, I still love going over the George Washington Bridge.
This outfit is not from this past weekend- it was pretty rainy and If you follow on twitter- you would have seen my outfit from Saturday. I forgot my camera this weekend and wasn't able to get any outfit pictures! Boo!

How was your weekend?!

PS. Dear Taylor, I am obsessed with my clutch (well, both actually) and I am so glad you are the creative artistic type (because I am not). Your shop answered my clutch prayers and I will be sure to purchase many more in the future! xo

Oh, Sunny Days

Trench Vest: Urban Outfitters, Blouse: TJ Maxx//Shorts: H&M//Sunnies: 80's Purple//"Notti" Wedges c/o Wanted Shoes

Say hello to my new favorites for my feet-the "Notti" wedges. I could not believe how comfortable these shoes were when I wore them for a full day. There were no "secret blisters" at the end of a 12 hour haul.

I had originally posted this early Thursday and Blogger went bonkers and deleted it. I cannot remember all that was written so I will leave you with this...

Happy Weekend!!! :)

Oh, and say HELLO to my newest sponsors:

Shirt: H&M//Striped Maxi Skirt c/o BB Dakota//Pink Clutch: ASOS//Watch c/o TIKKR//Bracelets: Vintage & F21//Sandals: F21

There is nothing more comfortable than a soft, cotton maxi skirt (except maybe these silk pants). I am totally loving the neon trend and adding bits and pieces to each outfit I wear. This pink TIKKR watch in "gum pink" is a new favorite to my accessory collection. I also have a few more bands in bright neon colors (SWOON).

Don't forget to shop my closet sale and visit my new Etsy shop!! :)
