Hues of Blue and a Hint of Leather

Outfit Details: Chambray Top: H&M//Leather Shorts: Macy's//Envelope Clutch: Modcloth, Sandals: Steve Madden (these are somewhat similar and adorable!)//Necklace: F21//Right Hand Bracelet: "For Keeps" Bracelet c/o JewelMint

Something about denim and leather seems so magical to me. I just love the combination, maybe because it's slightly unexpected...
On another note, I am getting ridiculously excited for NYFW this year. Between the all the fun festivities and the Blogger's Night Out event that I am a part of- I cannot even sleep! Next Wednesday I will be on my way into the city bright and early to attend the Lucky magazine conference. Are you going to NYFW?

I love how JewelMint this bracelet matches my new envelope clutch perfectly. Love Love Love.
See how my hot blogger friend styles up the same piece. Follow Grace over to Money Smart Fashion!

Green Forest

{Outfit Details} Dress: Three Dots (c/o)//Necklace: Forever 21//Handbag: Valerie Exotic Satchel-Handbag Heaven (c/o)//Sandals: Dolce Vita

Thursday's List
1.) Ok. This bag is a new obsession of mine. I have been longing for a dark blue handbag for awhile now but haven't been able to find one. This satchel has a ton of room for my 10920 lipsticks and plus has a great vintage vibe. MM hmm. Lovin' it
2.) Oh, and if you want to wear the most comfortable cotton dress ever? This will do it...
3.) I hate attitudes. Anyone else?
4.) I need a chocolate milkshake. Stat.
5.) Is it Friday yet?

Marathon Training

Running Gear

Necessities while training for a marathon
  • Lightweight, dry fit jackets for rainy or chilly days
  • Tank tops for layering
  • Compression Capris
  • Water Belt for those runs 8 miles and over
  • Nike Lunar Glide Sneakers for weight training **
  • Black Duffel for storing everything in one place
  • Garmin Sportswatch - calculates all mileage and times
  • Running headband for those pesky bangs
  • Sport beans and gatorade for that extra boost half way
**I bought my running sneakers at a running store that specializes in finding the right shoe for you. If you decide to train for a marathon I suggest that you do the same. The sneakers play a very important role and you do not want to get injured.

As many of you already know, I am currently in training for the NYC Marathon this year. I am in my 5th week of training and it is brutal. I have bad days and good days and push through every single one. For those of you that want to complete a marathon and have never run one before, I suggest this book. Even though I am a runner, I have never tackled a marathon and wanted to start off easy and make sure I can finish. It has a 16 week training program and by your 5th week you are running 11 miles on the weekend.
If you have any questions, let me know in the comments and I will be sure to get back to you! :)

Tank: Target//Denim: from a boutique in LA (can't remember the name!)//Sandals: Steve Madden//Necklace: Banana Republic//Hat: AE//Aviators: Forever 21

Song Quote Accreditation: The Beatles
Now for a few things:
1.) If you don't already know--I am a huge fan of classic rock. Music on the radio these days, doesn't even compare.
2.) Ripped denim and high stacked heels create the best outfit- (in my opinion..)
3.) My mind is a pile of mush from my mile long to do list. Any tips for keeping yourself super duper organized?
4.) Uhm, I eat a lot of candy corn. Like, A LOT. Too much even. ;)
5.) I like lists and I think I will be writing my posts like this from now on....
6.) You will want to be following BloggerNightOut on twitter - for some big news. Just do it ;)

The Flowers are golden

Pants and Blouse: Primark//Boots: Urban Outfitters//Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

Another London outfit post. I just adore how London's little streets have these little inlets to apartments with the gorgeous flowers. This was my first time ever going into a Primark store and it was PACKED. People everyone. Couldn't breathe. But I still bared with it. Amazing prices for some pretty fun little pieces.  Highly suggest browsing through there if your in the UK!

Proper English

Picnik collage1

Jacket: Old Navy//Denim Shirt: H&M//Jeans: Forever 21//Oxfords: TJ Maxx//Bag: Spotted Moth//Scarf: Vintage
It's about time that I posted my pictures from London, don't ya think? I am so behind with everything. Between marathon training, wedding planning, working overtime and a new kitten- I hardly have time to breathe!
I gotta say though....I LIKE it.
These pictures were taken on our little tour of London. We only had a 2 days there and wanted to make the best of it! I swear we walked 10 miles each day. I have to say that the most impressive thing about London is how incredibly clean it was. I mean seriously- you could lick the grounds of the subways.
Ok, well maybe not-but you know what I mean... ;)
