NYFW continued: Blogger Brunch with some lovely ladies at The Smith- which was oh-so delicious! I always find it so invigorating to meet and chat with so many successful women who manage full time jobs and blogging at the same time. Each person has such a unique personality and brings something different to the blogging atmosphere. You all inspire me and encourage me to continue through this blog despite the time constrictions that consume me on a daily basis.

I was thrilled to finally work with Lydia once she moved here to the East coast! We met up during fashion week and we're thankfully able to fit in a photoshoot! This same outfit has been featured on both Elle and the Nordstrom blog!It's funny to me because that day was SO hott in NYC. Like hot enough where I was worried about sweat stains on my chambray shirt. I was deathly scared that they would show up in the photographs, but tried to make the best of it. Yes, I had to share this information with you all.

Confession: I am obsessed with glasses. For years I have been wishing that I would wake up blind as a bat so that I could purchase a pair. There are many people that encourage me to wear them anyway- even though I don't require a prescription. If I do decide to purchase a pair- these would be my go-to's. I am in love/smitten/over the top with these Madewell frames. That is all.

Fashion's Night OutFNO always overwhelms me. Crowded streets. Crowded store. Hardly enough time to breathe. I did make it until about 10 pm before giving up and heading home! I opted for flats because my feet were killing me from the night before. I met up with Lani (on the left) and Sarah (on the right) for some grub and a few drinks at David Burke at Bloomingdale's. It's was great to see Sarah again - she is so sweet and Lani was adorable and constantly had me laughing. After dinner we headed over to see the Alice Yim collection (love her!) After   seeing Alice I wandered around with Kiley and her roommate for the week- BJ, who writes for the NY Times. We were on the hunt to met Rachel Zoe- but ended up giving up. The crowds were crazy!What did you do for FNO?!

Porter Grey Presentation and What I Wore

I loved the color palette at the Porter Grey Presentation. They complimented each other so well and can I tell you how much I adore the brogues?! The best way to describe this collection is simplicity at it's best. Each piece was unique and had it's own gorgeous cut. My favorite piece of the collection was definitely the sequin skirt. 

Lucky FABB Conference

What a whirlwind of a week! I headed to NYC early Wednesday AM to catch the Lucky FABB conference. I couldn't believe that I was in the same room as Diane Von Furstenberg (so down to earth and an overall great woman to look up to), Rebecca Minkoff (who looked unbelieveably gorgeous with her baby bump), Rachel Roy (love her personality), and SO many more! I didn't get there until late and didn't snap many photos (unfortunately). Here is just a peek at the outfit I threw on before the conference. I am in love with this comfortable "Jane" dress from J.Crew. I purchased it during the crazy summer sale, LOVE. 
 I usually like to take notes and jot down the most important points at these blogger conferences but I have to be honest and say I was so extremely tired that I didn't take many pictures OR jot down many notes. I know- I'm a terrible blogger. I promise that I have many more outfit photos from NYC to show you!I will leave you with one important quote that I did write down from the conference:
