1. A little something about me that you don't know: I tend to not only wear my heart on my sleeve, but I talk about what's going on all the time! I'm very open about everything. I've been married and divorced (within 3 weeks), I have trichotillomania (google it), and I'm a new Christian. Life is crazy on my end!
2. Why did you start blogging? I began blogging to have an online journal to vent in. To share my story. Each post is a narrative and directly reflects the moments that make up my life.
3. What are you passionate about? Looooove! I'm all about love. I have an amazing boyfriend and he is the little spark that keeps me going!
4. Sweet or salty? OOH sweet I suppose.
5. Favorite read? Anything by Michael Connelly. His detective novels are the best. I recommend The Poet.
6. Your favorite place in the world? Whidbey Island, Washington. It's right on the Puget Sound, is where I grew up scouring the beach for agates, and where I feel the most like myself.
7. Who is your hero? My boyfriend, Daniel! He has overcome so much in his life. It's not a story for me to share, but he has true strength and honor. He also serves our country in the Air National Guard and is a true American.
8. Your perfect outfit... A casual chambray top, printed shorts, and flat, strappy sandals! I also love a good pair of big earrings and a curly ponytail.
9. Polka dots or stripes? Stripes!
10. Your favorite inspirational quote. "Bloom where you are planted." I moved a lot as a kid and was always the "new" kid in school. This quote got me through it!

1. A little something about me that you don't know: I'm 1/2 Salvadorian and can speak Spanish. 
2. Why did you start blogging? I started blogging because I wanted to have a place where I could visually store my quirky style and show other people that you don't need to spend a ton of money to dress cute.
3. What are you passionate about? I'm passionate about being the best me I can be and being a good wife and mother to our future children.
4. Sweet or salty? I'm definitely a sweet tooth!
5. Favorite read. The Millennium series
6. Your favorite place in the world. My husbands arms as cheesy as that may sound ;P
7. Who is your hero? I have two heroes: both of my loving parents.
8. Your perfect outfit... I don't think a perfect outfit exists with a pregnant belly, but I will work with what I got. Right now my ideal perfect outfit would be floral pregnant pants, a chambray top, gold accessories, and ankle boots.
9. Polka dots or stripes? Polka dots, but horizontal stripes are becoming a favorite with my belly.

Radiant Lip Color in Poppy
On my whirlwind of a trip to NYC last week, I stashed my new Radiant lipstick ("Poppy"), in hopes that wearing it would limit how much I would need to dress up. Boy, was I right. This amazing red hue was just the pop I needed for my black dress and gold accessories. It lasted all day long and the best part?  A portion of the profit goes to fighting human trafficking.

   I was born in England, and my entire dad's side of the family is British (yes, accent and all). I never inherited the accent since we moved to the United States when I was three-years-old. I think I would be a lot cooler if I had one, but at least I have dual citizenship! haha.

2. Why did you start blogging?

    Due to my increasing boredom with my own fashion sense, I started blogging as a way to share my outfit creations     and provide motivation for me to get dressed everyday! So far, so good.

I absolutely love this dress (it's also cute not belted). A "swing" dress it's called...a dress to dance around in and have no worries about a thing....
Oh, and the boots? A gift from dear friends at Matisse- if you need to know one thing about me, it's that I love a great pair of low riding motorcycle/cowboy boots. I wear them with everything and I wear them year round. If they ever go out of style, I'll be that gal - still wearing the boots with just about ever outfit I own.
