I don't know what it is about polka dots that keeps me wanting more....
Maybe it's that classic 60's vibe that they give off? The way that the pattern adds so much to each and every outfit?
Gosh, I love them. My favorite way to wear them for this upcoming S/S season is the polka dot retro swimsuits. I never thought (in a million years) that I would yearn for a full suit like the ones above, but c'mon now- they are supa' dupa' cute! Pair that suit with a pair of round shades and you are so ready to take on that beach sand.
My closet has a ton of black and white polka dots, but is seriously lacking in the color department. I really love the "Americana" look with the red, white and blue. Very summer and instantly chic.
Another way to wear your dots is with another pattern. Change it up with a floral top and the dotted bottoms. I am a huge fan of the mixed prints, but will never mix more than two at any one time.
